Bipolar showed up in my life as a teen but I wasn't diagnosed until I was 30. I barely made it out of my younger years with my life. 

While I was grateful to put a name to my symptoms, I was also lost, overwhelmed, paralyzed, and full of fear and anxiety as to what that diagnosis meant for the rest of my life. There were few resources at that time and my journey into recovery was confusing and rife with misinformation and inaccurate advice.

I decided to change the process for others, and for the last 10 years I have worked to ensure that other people have the tools and resources to live beyond a mental health diagnosis. I have approximately 30 certifications in various areas of mental health including being a Certified Life Coach and Certified Mental Health Coach. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education, spending the first 10 years of my career as a public high school teacher and university instructor.  

My personal experience of living undiagnosed, being diagnosed but not knowing where to turn for real life solutions, and now, living in recovery from a mental illness for 13 years allows me to relate to you in a way that no book or degree can teach. But personal experience is not enough. The extensive academic journals research I have done, certifications and training I have received, and my education and experience as a course developer and instructor make me the expert you need to change your life!
